Hide a Member

I have created a game master bot for my forum, and would like him to be hidden. However, I can't hide members via group administration. I created a new group to put it in and hid it, but it still shows up as a normal member. Is there a way to hide normal members?

Also, when I select "yes" under "Group Auto-Subscribe" and set the minimum posts to 1, will someone become part of this group after making a single post?
