email notifications

Can I set up email notification to a particular member when a new topic is added to a forum, or any forum?

you can set it up for them to receive a email notification for any threads they start,reply to or topics they are watching.. but you will not be able to have them sent an email for anything that is not posted by them.

Admin panel>user/groups.

find or search the users name then click on there name to set there profile in the acp.

That means I can't do this.
