how do you earn points?

in the rankings forums have points..how are they earnt?
not the individual users points but forum as a whole.

Hello,
To earn activity points, you have to get your forum active. The more active your forum is, the more activity points you will gain,
This means your members has to post a lot during a certain time period,

Overall forum statistics matters. Number of posts, topics, activity of topics, number of users, active users etc.
