FAVICON HELP!

I would love to have a favicon but for the life of me, I can't figure it out. Can somebody please help me?

Which script do you use for the favicon, and where do you put this script ?

I created the favicon in favicongenerator. Then I downloaded it. Now, I am stuck on how to upload the favicon file to insert it into the meta tag box.

Could you open the file you downloaded ? And put the code here ?

I downloaded to my pc. I downloaded it, can open it, but doesn't give me a code. Here is the pic I would like for my site. . My website is: http://midatlanticstangs.com. I can't figure out what to do after downloading my generated favicon. I must be totally stupid.[/img]

Ok, I finally figured it out. Photobucket wouldn't allow the .ico file so I had to use that freeweb thing. Thanks for your patience!

Ok now another issue. How do I get my favicon to show up on every page of my forum. I have it on my portal and homepage but when I open a topic, it disappears. Also, I have it bookmarked to my favorites and it is not showing up there?
