Is it possible to add share buttons

Not to sure if this is the right place for this so sorry if it isn't?

Can anyone tell me is it possible to add what is below (Share Button) to our forums? on all pages?

Right click on one of those buttons (found in your screenshot), and then click 'Copy Shortcut'. Once you do that, enter the link of what you just copied into this code:

^^^^That code is actually the button that you can put on your forum's homepage message or as a widget on your forum. ^^^^

Also, you can edit the message in the link that would show up as the feed (tweet message, status message, or whatever you want to call it) by just adding what you want the message to state where it allows you to add the message in the link.
For instance, I have a 'Tweet' button on my forum, and when you click it, it'll send you to where you add a Tweet on your Twitter page... and there will automatically be a message there. You can find that message in the link of where you copied the shortcut of that button. For instance, this is the link of my forum's Tweet button:
http://twitter.com/home?status=http://www.mysite1413.com ... Promote your forum and receive results!
I can edit where it says "http://www.mysite1413.com ... Promote your forum and receive results!" and add a new message. Then, when I go back to my forum and click the feed button, the message that ends up in my Tweet box on twitter will be the message that I edited in that link.


Sorry if all of that is a little bit sloppy... I don't have the time at the moment, haha.

Are you using PunBB or PhpBB2?

I am aware that you can change their location and such, but not as far as adding additional ones, which I will try and search for now for you.
I however do need to know what version you are using so I can find the EXACT code we need to change.

Do you also want to have it in your homepage message, as Rok has informed you about, or do you want it apart of every post in the "share" links?

Thanks for that Net, it does appear to be plausable, however I cannot 100% guarantee I can find it because it looks like it requires a bit of changes to the code, and im not quite used to these new codes.

Can you give me say 24 hours and I can come back with a defined answer please?

Sniper, I'm sorry but I was not able to find a way to add an addition things to the "add this" list, primarily because it's integrated into the DB. however don't worry, I will talk with Kirk sometime hopefully later today, and he may be able to find a way on phpbb2, and I can convert to PunBB for our sakes.
Don't fret about kirk, he's great with PhpBB2, he's already found something out that jalo hasn't, and I'm not allowed to reveil that

Net, I havent seen kirk for a lil bit, and I remember that he's out for a few days, it new years after all lol.

But yea, I may have something tomorrow morning for ya, it's looking straight forward right now, and assuming I don't hit any bricks (or kirk's as a matter of fact) I may be able to have something for you.

I've managed to completely remove the entire AddThis 'share' button....now wheres kirk
