Solved Html code as first page

Post by ProuD Sun Dec 27 2009, 15:58

I made a basic/beginners html. I now want to set it to the beginning of the site. So that if you come to my forum, you see that page at first.
I will post my html, so maybe you can see something wrong :S

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Combat Arms</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<CENTER><FONT size='6' face='Verdana' color='#DAA520'>Welcome at our forum.</FONT></CENTER>
<HR size="3" width="80%">
<CENTER><A href="http://combatarms.5forum.net/forum.htm">Click here to go to the forum</A></CENTER>
</BODY>
</HTML>

My question is: How to make this as my first page?

Thnks,
ProuD

Hello,

Just follow these simple steps please :

ACP=>Modules Tab=>HTML=>HTML pages management=>Find the page and click Html code as first page Editer=>Use this page as homepage=>Yes=>Save

Note : You must add a link back to forumotion.com, so that you can use a page as your homepage.

Find a link to forumotion :

I think you are using, wysiwyg mode. Click Html code as first page Desact-html until you see https://2img.net/i/fa/admin/icones/act-html.png.

Then, add this and save the page as your homepage. Then you can edit what forumotion link you'd like, Wink

Code:
<html>

<head>

<title>Combat Arms</title>

</head>

<body>

<center>

<font size="6" face="Verdana" color="#DAA520">Welcome at our forum.</font>

</center>

<hr size="3" width="80%">

<center>

<a href="http://combatarms.5forum.net/forum.htm">Click here to go to the forum</a>

<br> <br>

<a href="http://www.forumotion.com"><img src="http://www.illiweb.com/fa/banner/en/banner3.jpg" alt="Free forum" title="forumotion.com" /></a>

</center>

</body>
</html>
