avi files supported???

Hello.
I wanted to know if you were able to use an avi file for the header?
If not, are avi files supported within the forum itself?

Are you thinking the forum might crash?
Even if the forum crashes, the admin panel won't

You can press save/submit and then press shift+click on the header text.
If you get a white screen in the new window then the forum broke.
If it doesn't, then HOORAY!!! it worked xD

No. I'm not worried that the forum will crash, I just wanted to make sure the file would be able to be a header before I invest the time to create something that will just sit on my desktop when I'm done.

Othert formats are much better for streaming video on a forum
you can upload an avi file to youtube and it will convert it for you
to flash video then simply get the embed code from youtube
to put in your forum homepage message or topic or make a widget
from the code to go in your portal
