Changing the founder.

Hey all,
I did run a search on this topic and saw a few others about the same thing....
So here's my problem a few days ago when Our clan leader (my co-leader) announced he was stepping down and going offline permanently. I was looking for a way for him to transfer the rights to me.. and found out that was not possible to just transfer the privileges to a different acct you must have access to the founders acct.
So I spoke with him.. and he gave me access to his acct.. he PMed me his PW and stuff.. the thing is when I try to log into his acct it won't let me.. says "i specified a inactive/wrong user or PW".
So I'm wondering if there is a safe guard stopping me from logging in or if he misspelled his PW or what... I'm only posting here cause IDK when or if he is going to come back online to verify his password... So I'm Hoping you guys can help me out...

are you sure your typing the correct password of the founder or give his account to your for sure?

I have his user name and he pmed me his PW. I tried typing it... I even tried copying and pasting both the username and pw into the appropriate spaces and got nothing so unless there is something blocking me.. I'm assuming he misspelled his pw

Most likely his misspelled his password. You can contact me via PM to get a new password if you are really sure that he will be gone.

Thank you for your assistance everyone, But Morris logged in on his Ipod touch and manage to send me the correct pw.
