Announcements Widget Not Showing

I've gone into the ACP > General > Messages and Emails > Announcements and set the activation to 'yes', 'all pages', and 'deactivate' scrolling. I inserted a 'testing' announcement in the announcement list and it isn't showing up on any of the pages. It worked before, but haven't used it in awhile. I tried it again recently and nothing. I've made sure that there wasn't any portion of the ticker code in my css so there is no code setting the display to 'none'. Should I insert the ticker code and make sure it set to display 'block', or is this an issue others are having as well?

Ah HA! Thank you, Sanket! It wasn't the footer bar code presented by Jalo, but the script inserted into the site description for the wibiya bar. So... off to tweak some codes while you pass this code conflict on to tech, please.

Yes i was talking about the same thing & not the Jalo footer bar code.

Also, this code conflict is being caused due to wibiya toolbar, i don't think i can forward it to tech's. Sorry.

No worries, Sanket... I'm sure, eventually, there will be tuts for making the Jalo bar able to do everything the wibiya and meebo bars can do. But again, thank you.
