How to use Group administration to limit a member?
How can I use Groups to limit a members' access? For instance, if I want to stop a member from accessing the Off-topic Chat forum that everyone else has access to.
I've used groups to allow members access to additional forums, but I can't work out how to put a member in a group to limit their access. It doesn't work both ways.

Re: How to use Group administration to limit a member?
Hello Prizm,
This is currently not avaliable because if a normal member is allowed to view one section of the forum, then all groups are automatically ticked so that they can view that forum as well. The reason for this is because group members are "normally" considered to be more important than regular members therefore have the same viewing capabilities of a regular member.
Should you want this feature, you may suggest it in the Suggestions for your forums section if it hasn't already been suggested.
Regards,
Base

SAFE Members (MAke a special group for all OTHER memebers & put them in that)
Besure to NOT Put your bad people on the SAFE group.
Re: How to use Group administration to limit a member?
Unless you make that group above all the other groups, you won't be able to do that. By the way, what is the "Can View List" and "SAFE Members"?
Re: How to use Group administration to limit a member?
Can View is what groups will have the perms to view the forum.
SAFE Members is the memebers who are allowed to view that section.
