Google Ads

Sorry if the question has been clarified before..i have not found it anywhere in this forum.:

I would like to know if, as Forumotion, I can have Goggle Ads on "my" Forum.
Seems all forums hosted by Forumotion have Google Ads.

I need to know exactly the policies Forumotion has on this issue.

I've read through most of the questions people have, and stumbled upon MY question:

as far as i am aware,
the google ads are placed there by Forumotion, it is the only way thay keep the forums free
any other google ads that you place on your board to earn any income or revenue is not allowed on free boards,
a premium or advanced forum is the only way you can do that.

i think you can place google ads on your forum i have seen it on few forumotions forum. i'm sure a topic like this on here already and the admins said it's alright for you to do it.

I am still waiting for and Admin to fill me in on the Forumotion Policy for Ads on forums.

I asked one of my juridical consultant colleagues and here's her answer :

You can put your own Google ads, but you must follow these two conditions :
1- You must disactivate the default Google ads. For this, under your founder account, go to your Admin Panel > Misc. > Points management
2- You must declare it here since Forumotion is under French laws : http://www.cnil.fr/index.php?id=4

Ok, short info:

If you want to have your own ads on the forum, you need to:
1. Disable the Google ads -> 2. Have enough POINTS to set a period while Google Ads are disabled.

Now, my question is:
1. does any forum in the TOP25 most active or any other TOPlist receive free POINTS of this kind?

2. is there any other way of getting POINTS of this kind, besides the BUY POINTS option?

There's one other way

You can activate the contribution link (which'll be at the bottom of the page next to the other writing) and members can if they wsh donate points

The points of the top-list and these points are2 different, non-related systems

Donation was on my mind as well, but i was not sure it had an inpact on the POINTS.

1 last thought, if I'm not too picky:

there is a Forum, which i will not name here, for well sought reasons, that has a very nice score (to nice in my opinion), but in the WRONG category.

I'd like to know if you can take a look and maybe move the forum to its PROPER place, since MY forum seems DWARFED by the scores.

PS: i will give you the category, just so you know where to look: RPG category. (no subcategories)
