Solved adding additional software ?

Post by YanOri January 26th 2010, 1:24 pm

hello, most of you might have heard of the discuz codes....
i just wanted to know, are these
phpBB2 ,phpBB3 ,PunBB ,Invision better than the discuz codes ?
if so ...then how are they better?
here i am posting a site (doesnot belong to forumotion) which runs on "discuz codes"
mobiplanet .
can i make my forum like that ?
i mean can i install the software on my forum ?
if the forumotion allowes this, then pls tell me how can i install the software onto my forum.....
""i also wanted to ask another question may be this doesnot suit in this question but i am afraid to ask it again s i have seen warnings for other members for posting more than once in 24 days:
here it is>> after buying a domain name for 1600 credits, what are the benifits i am going to get, other than which the forumotion provides me right now ?"
i added this in the script code section as i am going to ask info about the coding software discuz...

thank you

wow i have been doing forums for years and that's the first i heard of that host.. is it a free host? there are a lot of new ones popping up all the time though so it's impossibly to keep up with them all.

my question is what kind of format are the discuz codes in.
if they don't work for the way they have it i am sure can be altered to make it work on forumotion.

i mean css is css html java is java.. so dunno i am not an expert on coding i would have to see what your trying to do.

but now if it's something that has to be installed or uploaded to a module.
then no you wont be able to do that on forumotion. those are features for paid forums.

hope that helps a lil
