IP Addresses

Hey guys, I'm just a newbie on the forums planning on getting active with the forums of the forums.

Now theres been a little mishap with my forum i have been working on.

A couple people were hacked and there posts were stolen etc. So i was wondering, how do i find an ip address of somebody who hasnt posted on the forums yet.

Im the owner of the forums and im having difficulty with it.

It seems as if i can only find the ip if they have posted.. but cant if they havent posted or deleted all there posts.

The only other way to get their IP address is by going into your admin panel when they are actually online at the time. So you basically have to catch them when they are in the room at the time. Otherwise you can only get it if they make a post.

So theres no way of telling what ip they used to create there account?

As people said before, if that person didnt create any post yet, the only way is to look it at the Admin Panel when that person is online.

You also will can see the email, so you can begin for investigating about the email, and the belonging of it.
