How to close your forum?

Yes we know how to delete a forum, but what we don't know is how to not 100% delete it. We want to disable the whole forum with a final message. How do you disable your forums?

You have many ways to do that:

Option 1: modify all the section permissions, put them only visibles for Admin...so people will can´t see anytihing.

Option 2: you can put your forum on 'holydays mode', is something like maintenance mode, but the problem is that this mode will go away in 24 hours, so you will have to reactivate this mode manually each day...

You can also put a message for your users on the board, to explain them what´s happening.
