i just had a peep & they show ok for me,
make sure your browser settings allow images,
some firewalls have cookie & banner/image blocking, this affects smilies too, so look in there too,
if you use firefox, you can add the site to a allow list in your Tools > Options on the browser,
if using internet explorer, check in Tools > Internet Options > security tab, make sure the zones are set to default,

Hello.

I gave a list of websites to find smilies in the "Smilies & Emoticons" tutorial, in the Frequently Asked questions. Some links might be dead, but I will verify them when I will update the tutorial.

well the best thing i found is make a custom block for links/logos
add it there using html
<a href="URL of Site" target="_blank"><img src="URL of Banner/Logo" border="0"></a>

well i made a custom block in portal page
i made the logos at http://www.grsites.com/ they are coloured buttons
then got a scrolling html code in the box adding the buttons
Code:
<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="up" scrollamount="2" height="200" onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()"> <center><a href="URL Here" target="_blank"><img src="URL of Image" border="0"></a><br><br>(the br's are adding extra lines so they are not touching)<a href="URL Here" target="_blank"><img src="URL of Image" border="0"></a></center></marquee>
you can have fixed ones but having a lot makes the box longer & longer, so i set it a scrolling one to a set size
