Solved Problems with posted images and emoticons

Post by Iesdi January 31st 2010, 5:04 pm

If I try to [img] some image, it shows good in the preview. When I post it, it shows for a moment and hide. I'm using mozilla firefox, but in internet explorer is the same. Example topic:

http://dnbdance.forumotion.net/off-topic-f9/show-us-your-desktop-screen-d-t50.htm?sid=b0a3ebd1696b4c3ce57a64035b8250d8

The img with the button shows, than hides. What can be the problem and how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance, you are the best Razz

EDIT: I just discovered that in internet explorer when I change the windows a few times (I'm writing this in firefox) the image in Inter.Expl. shows normaly. Now after I changed the windows few times I can see it good. What the hell? O.O

I'm using phpBB3

I think your page hasent fully loaded, check the bottom right of the screen to see if it has loaded.

Sound like it is likely a setting on Firefox that is causing this.

Go to your Tools >> Options >> Content
check the Exceptions for the Load Images Automatically, make sure that your forum addy is not shown in the exception list. And altho I doubt it should be the problem check the exceptions on the block popup windows and make sure that your forum addy is listed in the exception list. Which will enable you to get the popup when you get a private message if you so choose to. Not sure if those are the issues but it is something to check.

I went to your forum using my firefox and it comes up and stays just fine.
