Advert links

I don't know the correct term for them so didn't know what to search for to find an answer, sorry.

I have just one page viewable before registration and on that page it appears that random words have suddenlt become links, i.e. underlined and show a small box if scrolled over. is this normal, some kind of weird way of advertising or can I fix this somehow??

I do not see anything linked/underlined?
But it sounds like you have to go to.

Admin panel>general>configuration

scroll down to (Text ads activation (underlined) select no and hit save.
