Gonna get a new domain!

hi:)I'm gonna buy a new domain for my forum!I have to re-confirm this few questions first of course.EXAMPLE,My current forum link is http://yoyoyoyo.forumotion.net/ if i buy a domain and change it to advertisehotspot.com,will people who go to yoyoyoyo.forumotion.net be affected or will they auto re-direct them to the new forum address?

Both addresses will link to the forum but if they use http://yoyoyoyo.forumotion.net then thats what will display in their address bar.

At least thats how mine works

What Jake said is right, it will be displayed as the old link.
