Wildcards fail in censoring
One nuance is here: when the text is written in Russian. For example, if I want to replace all words starting from "дур" - I set дур* as a pattern with хороший человек as replacement - and the system not even does not replace "дурак" with "хороший человек", but even does not recognize exact word "дур*" in text - it remains not changed.
Re: Wildcards fail in censoring
If that word you were about to censore is already on the posts of forum and you addded it on the censored words, it won't, words will only be censored after it's placed to the censored word in the ACP.

Yes, of course! I noticed it right away. But it still doesn't work when the pattern is censored and after that the corresponding word is tried to be used in a posting. Cyrillic words without wildcard "*" are replaced smoothly. Wildcards with English alphabet work OK. My application concerns only using wildcards with Cyrillics...

Well probably then Cyrillics is not recognized by that censoring feature.

Exactly so! It was quite evident for me from the very beginning... The question is - who and when can remove this bug. The postings of some part of Russian participants really need censorship. And I was quite happy when I found this feature hereSanket wrote:Well probably then Cyrillics is not recognized by that censoring feature.
