'ban this member' on profile

hello

some of my members have an option 'ban this member' on their profile, viewable by all members, and so also possible to do by all members...

how come? and can i make this disappear?

Some of your members? Are they in some group you created?

no not really
does that make a difference?

Well if they aren't, can you post a screenshot of what a member sees?

all my members are in a group members
some of my members are also in other groups, they don't have that, but the members who are only in the group members, they have it

The screenshot you posted is of a administrator.
What does a member see, i want to see a screenshot of that.

i think i got what the problem was

some of my members had their own corner and moderate it themself, which made them moderators so they could see things other members couldn't...
