Group Auto Subscribe Question

Hello I was wondering if it was possible for non members to register and put automatically into a group without having to manually put them there Ex: I have a group called Guests I would like all people that register to be automatically put into that group. Is this possible and how do I go about doing it? I hope I have explained this right.

Group auto-subscribe : Yes

Then put the minimum posts to 0 and save.

and so. all the guests and and already registered member will be automatically put in the group.

You would have helped if it had actually worked. I done exactly as you had said but it just keeps going back to No Sad

Any ideas on why this would be happening?

Will they have to post something before they are automatically put into that group?

sorry. its 1 not 0. thanks for the correction. anyway. they wont be added to group unless they post at least one. XD

Yes,1 post...With 0 they can't automatically join that group Wink

Because you can set any color you want to they be when register on your forum Smile

Oh darn thats no good. I wanted them to go right to the group after they registered. Because after 1 post they go to the members group.

The reason the techies have done this is for some security protocol I believe.

Im sorry I did a search on the topic but couldnt find any which is why I opened this one. Sorry if I caused problems. I will just deal with what I have thanks to all that helped me.

Typlo did say if users request it to be set to 0 they will do it. It has been suggested to do that in the suggestion section.

You don't have the rights to decide if its closed or not if you aren't the user who created the topic or staff. So please let the staff do their job and lock it when they feel it is needed.
