Admin Panel Error

Ok it looks like it's not just the username but everything I do.....

Each time I want to edit the value or name of any thing like say a catagory. It sends me back the Home section. I go back to take a look, it remains unchanged.

Is it a problem with the BUTTONS? Every button I pls I end up back tot he Home page of the admin section. Even with my original forum. I can't even delete my forum or do anything. Saving also gets you back to the home page also.

Actually, you can. Just go on advanced mode in admin panel, click users and groups, chose find users, or search users, chose a user, edit thier profile, and delete thier current name, and change it to something else.

Change a members username via this
Users &groups>search Users
Search for the user.
Then you can change the username there. Also if you scroll at the bottom, there is a option to delete the member. You can delete that member there.

I think it's not just the username unable to be changed but other things as well. I think there is an error with the Save button or any other buttons.

Which save button are you talking about exactly?

I click it and it goes back to the home page. And it doesn't change the thing I want to change in the first place. I thought this was a prob with my PC but it turns out it's not... Either forumotion doesn't like me or is it really an error.

What change did you make there? Also you made the change immediately?

Example I change the name of a category [very simple change]

Then I click save to save the change.. But instead of getting the usually changes saved. I was returned to the home page of the admin panel. I also realize that each time I click on any section button like say I want to go to user and groups. I get returned tot he home page of the admin panel.

This is very strange.

I tried again. Restarting PC and internet connection. But the error still occurs.... I think this is a problem with the admin panel.

Sorry... I just found out that I can do as usual when I am using a proxy.. which is odd!
