Aligning an image left from text in BBcode?

Hi all

Maybe I'm missing something; I'm trying to make a post on my Forumotion forum where the image is aligned left and the text appears next to it on its right side. I've looked at similar questions but the only answer I get is [left*][*/left], but that only places the image to the left, it doesn't enable me to place text to the right of image.

I know in HTML you can used <img src="etc etc" align="left"> but either I'm really missing something or the BBcode on my Forumotion forum just doesn't allow a similar effect.

I'd appreciate any advice,
