Not getting email alerts

Some of my forum's members, including myself, are not getting email alerts when new posts are adding in topic we are following or when we receive new PMs.

I have "unchecked" the options in my profile's preferences, saved and checked them again, but it still doesn't work. This is really annoying for me as a founder and moderator.

Is it a normal gmail or msn account?

Did you check your spam?

They are normal accounts maily from gmail or yahoo. And they used to work perfectly. I checked my spam folder and they were not there.

Ahh, one other thing is that the newsletters I send are receive by some of my members and not by others.

Any help will be really appreciated.

It takes time to receive newsletters. One might receive it early, the other one a little late.

Some of my members never receive newsletters, including me who am the admin of the forum and the one sending them out, LOL. And as we can't own our members' database, the only way to send messages to all of them is through newsletters...

But anyhow, the problem with the email alerts is still unsolved.

I really cannot ascertain the problem.
Have you seen the topic being watched in the profile tab?
