Help: Forum doesn't work with internet explorer anymore!

Can someone please check it out? It works with Chrome and Firefox but not with Internet explorer, only the top of the page shows. I have no idea what the problem is, it seems to have started when I installed that new shoutbox.

I did, but I and several other people with Internet Explorer only see the top of the site. Here I screenshotted it:

i switch to fire fox and the whole forum was there.
that dont make sense i never seen this happen before?

um i am going to have to try to think this out for second to see if we can troubleshoot and figure this out.
in the mean time can you install the portal for sec. i need to see something.

damn it's doing the same thing there too.
um try these things.

fist add the widgets through the whole forum. i need to see if i can get to a forum or post somehow. that shout box you have. was IE working with that on the forum before?

the try this.

go to admin panel>general>configuration

scroll down to ( Resynchronize your forum ) check that then hit save and see if that helped.

If that dont help the the backup restore utilities tool

I'm just add what it says and back it up to a few days before the problem started to accrue.

then if that dont help.. actually do this first remove that shout box just to see if that is interfering with it somehow. if thats the case then you may have to find a different place to put it.. but we'll burn that bridge when we get there right now i just want to try to troubleshoot to narrow things down to try to indicate what this freaky problem is... lol

so try all those things first.. then if not we may have to request a tech.
and they are not here on week ends but hopefully it wont even come to that

^I found out what the problem is, i deleted the shoutbox and all of the sudden it worked again for Internet Explorer. This is really weird because that shoutbox isn't even hosted on Forumotion, it's hosted on X10Hosting.

Alright, thanks man. I literally spent 5-6 hours getting that shoutbox up and configured. Odd thing is that the only problem is with IE

i slapped in a different iframe.
you can adjust the width and height and you can also change the bore color and
px = (thickness) if you wanted to as well.

where did you have it before.. i put it in the home page message and it works fine

It works! Thanks you so much!! Really couldn't have done this myself! But one more thing, why is it that the Iframe looks perfect in Chrome but looks different on Internet Explorer & Firefox? Do i have to edit the size?

most likly.. you have to open two or 3 tabs with the browsers then adjust to what you think looks best for all of them.. you just refresh the pages after the adjustments.. i would do ie and fireox..

see i hate these freaking different browsing companies.. they do this on purpose to try to get something that's not appearing one they want you to go to there browser where it will work so they can get you with there adds and crap..

it's all a big plot to try to get more people to the browsers.. but it's a pain when it comes to creating websites forums.. you spend hours on something and it looks cool. then you go to another browser and it's all screwed up looking.. so thats why you have to have a couple browsers going at one and make sure the appearance are coming out cool for both.. thats about all you can do. it's a big scam... lol

^I see, that really sucks But with my last Iframe code it looked great on all three browsers. Are there more Iframe codes? Maybe there's another one that works and looks good on all three.

i would ask rono he might be able to do something to get your other code working.. but i know he is more of a FireFox man so not sure.. but I'll ask him when he is on latter.

just take the border out if you wany. where it (border 1px solid) just put a 0 there or leave it blank.

^I did that already But it's another border, it seems as if it's an image that overlays it on IE but not on Chrome and Firefox.

Guys, I got it to work on Internet explorer to! My Iframe code had some things missing.

This is the one that worked for all three browsers:

The first problem was that on Internet explorer the code ''transparent'' doesn't work unless you have ''allowtransparency=''true'' in your code. When I got rid of the white background I saw that there still was an extra border around the Shoutbox. So I searched around on the net for a while and found this code:

I added it into my Iframe code and now that worked, I also disabled scrolling using the code: scrolling="no" because there were scrollbars in my iframe.
