Enable guests to post links

I was just wondering if it's possible, and if so, how can I do it?

I just discovered this today. Go to the General Tab, Under the Forum on the left hand side, Categories & Forums, click that and then you'll see in the main body on the right 2 tabs, the 2nd one is Forum Permission Control, click that. You'll then see your forum/boards, Click the one you're wanting to change and then you'll see the Forum name, You'll then see this:

View the forum and its messages :
Write topics or messages :
See images in the messages :
See links in the messages :

See links in the messages should read ALL that will let Guest, Members, Moderators and Administrators see them. Make sure you click SAVE.

there is no option for allowing guests to post links though.

No, the only way is to allow them to actually be able to post in the forums altogether.

Like MrMario said, you have to enable the "write topics and messages" to guest.

That's the only way

well supposedly a guest had posted a message that had a link on it on my forum. All the text showed but the link did not.

Sorry but guest are not allowed to post links as this is a security system.
