Forum and Portal dimensions?

Hey folks I am one of the admins at http://mcstylists-overclock.forumotion.com/forum.htm

I am wondering if the forum can have one dimension and the portal have a different dimension. the forum has a background image and the forum it self is somewhat transparent. the background image is set to stay put so the forum moves over the bacground image. Something a little different than most forums.

I would like to increase the width of the Portal without changing the width of the forum is that possible and if so could someone help me with that?

Been there & wondered if you mean decrease size of Portal.
Or increase main Homepage so both are equal.
Sorry I don't have an answer though.
So anyone out with the solution... please... TIA

Bump, bump bump!!!

The site is structured sothe forum and Portal take up about 80% of the viewers screen

I do not want to change the look or dimensions of the forum but would like the increase the Portal to take 100% of the viewers screen is this possible.

And how long does it take to get some support around here?
