Rank Changing Error Empty Rank Changing Error

Okay so I have this forum, been running for six months no problems. I have a lot of ranks as it is a yugioh forum so all the members are given different ranks. Today I created a new rank, and when I tried to change people's ranks to that I got this when I clicked Save:

Error

Could not obtain search results

I tried to get another administrator to do it, but no luck. Any idea how to fix this?
