Replacing words Empty Replacing words

Post by Donal April 16th 2010, 3:10 pm

I want my forum to change words into logo+word, for example:

If a member types "Firefox" it should come out like this: Replacing words 14wrrqcFirefox
If a member types "Opera" it should come out like this: Replacing words Mllhnapera

How can i do it?

I think emoticons work for this.

Admin panel -> General -> Censoring -> Word Censoring. And then click "Add" and type in for word "Firefox" or "[O]pera", for Replacement "<font color="orange">Firefox</font>" or "<font color="red">Opera</font>". The result: user types "Opera", out comes "Opera" with red (I'm not sure, but I think colours are only for staff of the forum here). If you want bold, then add next to <font color=""> also <strong> and at the end </strong>. For logo way: at the beginning add <img src="https://2img.net/h/oi48.tinypic.com/mllhna.png" border="0" alt="" /> or <img src="https://2img.net/h/oi49.tinypic.com/14wrrqc.png" border="0" alt="" /> . You can also make an emotion, as AlphaPkz replied.
