Why cant i send a private message?

I have a message that i want to send to a user: Tilum. But it says i havent reached some kind of post limit yet. Its a urgent message and also im new to this fourm Very Happy

You need to make it so all users can send PMs regardless of post count
Admin panel>General (tab)>Private messages>Minimum posts before sending private messages
Make that zero and your good to go

Yeah. I know. Are you admin of the site? If so do what i said and it will allow you to send a PM with any number of posts. The setting is probably on a higher number right now which means you need more posts to PM people. If your not admin tell him/her about your problem

I signed up to this website 10 minutes ago and all i just want to do is send a message to a user but a post limit is preventing me from.

Well if your not admin of that site there is nothing you can do but contact your site admin/staff

To send messages on this forum , as far as I know , you must have 2 messages Razz

Hi. Yeah I was having the same problem. I forgot my password (i'm the admin it's terrible I know!) and I wanted to send a PM to one of the staff to retrieve it but it said I couldn't send PMs yet. So I guess I'll post around until it lets me!
