how do I turn anti spiders off?

Hi

Just wondering how to turn my anti spiders off as I want to be ranked on search engines.

I have found this

Anti-spiders mode (for your pages and the emails inside)

but it wont let me change it

Admin pannel>General admin>secrity>Anti-spiders mode (for your pages and the emails inside)>"make it inactive if it isn't already."

Hi - thanks for that - it wont let me turn it off though - it isnt a clickable link

bumping for an answer please, i have tried this too and there is no way to turn it off....

There isn't anyway to turn it off. There are two options that are on permanently. It's part of the anti spam/virus features.

You will have to do it the hard way and put links into other sites and reply on them with your signature as your site's name so that search engines like google can pick it up. (I am assuming this is why you would like it off).

It's tedious but rewarding.
