Profile editing shortcut

So....currently on my forum, when a user presses on the "Profile" icon or "My profile" in the login widget, it takes them to the page with all of the editing and such. They then have to click on "See my profile" to go to their profile.

Is it possible for this link/button to take the user straight to their profile as it would be seen by other people?

That they can do by clicking on the username.

Yes, but is there any way to edit the template so that when they press "My profile" on the login widget, it takes them straight to their visual profile, rather than the editing ?

Nopes, thats not possible.
