HTML not working on portal widgets or generality

I copy and paste a code for a button or a calender ect. . . But it won't show up. The simple stuff like <font> HTML and easy stuff like that works.
Here is the code I want to work.

neither one of them codes show anything for me.
What is it you are trying to do?

for one there is no padding,no url links added to go anywhere.
and the image link. must not be a direct link because there in now image at all showing .. i mean you have links in there they are just not set up to click anywhere?

so did this just to give an example to show you that nothing was adjusted or click able links added or image.

so i have no idea what this code is for or supposed to do. i guess it's supposed to be a donate button to go to a page for people to donate?

or is it supposed to re-direct to the free web buttons dot com.

what ever the case if you can explain a lil more what you want this code to do, provide the link where it's supposed to click to and the image you have.
then i can mostly put it together for you and get it working.

but at this point i am lost and have no idea what the code is for or supposed to do. and both them codes above from you and mex. neither one of them are showing anything for me.

so here is just a test thing i did to show as an example.(useing the first code)
the code has to be adjusted and the content you want added to it.
