i am trying to put a code/html in my post
when i preview it, its correctly linked to teh right picture from the code

but when i hit "send" only the code shows up in the msg. i have tried several times, what am i doing wrong?

What is the code you are using?

The code should be:

<a href="LINK"><img src="LINK TO IMAGE"></a>

not a code to an image, i have that down...but a code with a image attached to a link...

instead of me typing the blah web address to something, i want to put the sites ad with the link...and the codes are working correctly when i "preview" but when i actually hit send...only the code shows up in the msg...

That happened to me also, I figured it out to highlighting the link and pressing the "link" button in the post. That worked.

ok, thank you for the advice andre...that works when its just a web address


however...for instance i want to put this code in a post

when i preview it shows the code and that it is in deed a link...however when i "send" the post...it only shows the code
when i clicked on the "link" button and tried it that way under the preview section it showed the image with the [url] [url] code outside of it, so i know thats not it...
but i stiall cant figure out how to make the code work

Before puting the code you need to switch the editor mode, make sure you enabled the HTML Code

To switch editor mode you need to click this link


To enable the HTML code you need to go to: Admin Panle -> User Admin And Groups -> User And Forum Setings in there set to YES Allow HTML.
