Solved Taking things from another forum?

Post by GoohomeET May 15th 2010, 11:42 pm

Okay, I made a forum and have every category and forum section setup. But I didn't like the name of the url so I made a new forum. Is there anyway I can take the categories/sections from the first forum to my current forum? I have access to the administration panels on both.

No.

To do this you would need access to the MySQL Database, which we don't.

So sorry....

Thanks,

Oh, alright.. And also if you set a certain group to moderate a forum and on the index where it shows "Moderators: Group1" and let's say that group's color is red, are you able to have it colored where it says "Moderators: Group1" like that?

Try this code:

Code:
<b><font color="red">Moderator:</font><font color="gray">Group 1</font></b>

Just copy and paste it into the rank title.

It might work on groups, but I'm not sure.

Oh, That is what you mean. Lol

That is just because a moderator is assigned to the forum Smile

You can show the moderators on category/forum but without colors.
One way you can do this :
A.P // Taking things from another forum? Portail Display // Homepage // Structure and hierarchy // Display forum moderators : No // Save.
Choose a category and write in description :
Code:
Description bla bla ... <br>
<strong>Moderatori: <font color="brown">Administrators</font></strong>
