Is there a way to have a protected forum? Like for a staff room where staff only can talk.

The best would be to go to your admin panel > forum > forum permissions control > you'll have the list of all your categories, and the permissions of each group > click the category you want to hide > Uncheck all groups for who you want to hide the categories and save Wink
