Solved How would an Admin change the homepage title of their forums?

Post by Silent Lamb on June 2nd 2010, 1:02 am

I recently changed the address of my forums to suit a new site name, but I found that after making those changes, there was still one thing left to fix- While viewing my forums' index page/home page, at the very top of my window, I would see it display the old name of my forums and some additional text. So, I ask you all:

Where would I look in the Admin's Panel to change the homepage title of my forums, so that it would match my site's name?

Any help would be appreciated!

It should be in General>Forum>Configuration.

You also might want to delete it from your 'favorites' in your browser then re-add it. The new name should show up then.

I hope I'm right about this.

I thought originally that it would be there, in Configuration, but for me it isn't. I can change the Site Name, the Site Description, etc., but not the homepage name.

Also, I have deleted it from my Favorites and re-added it. That didn't work, either.

I have the same issue. I can change the Site name and Site description, but not the Homepage name.
