Creating an Application

I want to make an application for all new members of my forum. Some they fill out which helps me learn about their interests and why they chose to join the forums in the first place. The application format would be something like:

1. Name: __________

2. Country: __________

3. Why did you want to join the Alliance: __________
(the alliance is for an online game) :p

etc.

If there is coding involved - I do not know much about coding, so if u can keep it simple it would really help!

Go to: admin panel>Modules>Html Pages Management>Edit or make a new page and paste the code

thanks. but how do i make it so that when someone clicks a link (which i want to call "Application") in a category/forum, it goes to the application?

for example.... i created a public area forum where the registered people can view that section. i want to create a sub forum called application. then i would like that person to fill it out and submit it to another location (called submitted applications" in the public area).

is that too complicated to understand?

Why not make them as a profile field obligatory for filling them up while registering.

why don't you make it like a post and type the question there then they can just answer your post....

Yes, i would like to understand.

Here i explained how to make a html site with an form, you have to fill it out, click on send and it make a post in a thread.
The example is already a clan application form.

On that way you dont have to create an extern form/application.
