If it only appears on 1 subforum, it's the same thing as a regular announcement...

On PunBB you might be able to do it via template editing an some CSS changes. Ask RoNo, Sanket or Ankillien for that.

Re: A Global Message just for A Sub-Forums
i mean, the announcement didn't appear for the sub of the sub-forums..
Example like this :
General Forum
|- Sub-Forum 1
|- Sub-Forum 2
..|-- Sub of Sub-Forum 2
|- Sub-Forum 3
I want the announcement Appear ONLY at Sub-Forum 2 and the whole Sub-Forum inside sub-Forum 2, but not appear in the other sub-forum.
And especially i want that things appear in the top of the sub-forum (Not as a thread list)
I'm using PHPBB2 i guess so
Example like this :
General Forum
|- Sub-Forum 1
|- Sub-Forum 2
..|-- Sub of Sub-Forum 2
|- Sub-Forum 3
I want the announcement Appear ONLY at Sub-Forum 2 and the whole Sub-Forum inside sub-Forum 2, but not appear in the other sub-forum.
And especially i want that things appear in the top of the sub-forum (Not as a thread list)
I'm using PHPBB2 i guess so

Re: A Global Message just for A Sub-Forums
if you make a thread as announcement, it will be only as announcement on that sub-forum, not on the another child sub-forum of the sub-forum.
you got it?
you got it?

Make the same thread again there. Otherwise its not possible to be done as a global announcement.

One could mean an update or news and the other could mean helpful links.
