Picture links do not work anymore

On my forum I have noticed that some (not all) pictures do not show up as they used to. Normally I can write the code as [img]link to picture[#/img] (without the #) and the picture will show amid the text.

Yesterday I noticed that the pictures cannot be seen anymore (part of one text at the forum with the not working pic links). And these are pics that worked just a day before.. what happened? can anyone help?

and when I try and edit the post it looks like: [img]link[#/img]

but when I clink post, the forum adds the: box with the red x in the beginning and the "" border="0" alt="" />
" at the end>>>

This has been happening to several forums.

Try to delete your forum cookies and cache. Resync your forum, and make sure BBcode is activated in the post.

Thank you! I was worried there was something wrong with my gallery account as this would mean I would have to repost everything. If it just the forum it is slightly better news.. I will try what you suggested


edit: tried it, but how do i check the BBcode? (computer illiterate)

Edit the topic or post and look for Disable BBCode. Will be under the posting area.

It most be turned off in the profile or in the admin panel

Profile // Preferences // Look for Allow BBCode // Yes // Save
Admin Panel // General // Configuration under messages & email // look for Allow BBCode // Yes // Save

Most of our threads have suddenly got BB turned off and I see many have on this support forum too. Thanks for the tip off King of Sports, I am now going into each thread on out forum and unchecking the boxes. BB is turned on in the main admin panel.

EDIT: It's a waste of time they seem to just get checked again, some also have the disable smiley box checked.

2) When is there going to be 'an only topic'?

3) when will it be fixed?
