Picture Link Outline Color?

Okay, so I made an HTML page consisiting of a picture that redirects you to my forum when clicked as my forum's homepage. My only problem is that the picture is outlined by a purple rectangle to disginguish it as a link I guess. Is it possible to get rid of that outline or at least change the color of it? if you want to delete the border of a linked image so add this border="0" to the image code. e.g <a href="LINK HERE"><img src="IMG LINK HERE" border="0">
