Changing the Forum Width

I am trying to make the width of my forum smaller so that I can see the background image more.

I have changed the forum width in page structure, but I dont see any difference when I changed 98% to 75%. Im very new to this, so could someone assist me through this.

Change the width to pixels instead of a %. You will be able to see the difference better once you change it.

I just changed mine into pixels, but there still is not a change. I think I'm going to have to go into css . . .

are you hitting "save".? if so, then you'll need to change the page structure via the css. Which version are you running?

I looked through my css and didn't find what you suggested, so I copied your code - changing the pixel # to what I want (871) than added it at the bottom of the sheet. But as you can see below, it didn't work. Actually, I have tried it before and can't seem to over ride the set width.




Any more suggestions?
