Spell Check

Spell Check

Are you sick of members making spelling mistakes in your clean, tidy forum? If you vote yes for Spell Check, that will all soon go away! This thread is for those who like to have nice, clean forums with correct Spelling and Grammar. Some of your members may not mean to mispell words, but they have. Spell Check can easily stop that!
Spell Check is the lazy tool of the century! Well, at least, it will be if you vote! Vote Yes on Spell Check!

I say ForuMotion Admins/Techs should implement this ASAP!

Why do we need Spell Check?
- It helps give your forum a clean look.
- Most people HATE it when they see a post where the person literally does not make sense, just because they haven't spelt something correctly.
- If you own a support forum, people can post without spelling, and nobody can help them because they don't know what the person is asking. What would that do to the reputation of your forum? Nothing good, obviously.
- Several of my members have suggested it, but I've only now thought of it. Ask your members whether they want a Spell Check. I can already tell you what the majority of them will say. YES.
- It's on all forums that are not made with a host (again talking about NeoSeeker) and the forum I'm talking about is one of the most popular in the world.

Optional?
Yes, it should be optional. Not everybody is a neat freak, unlike me. So I guess they shouldn't have to use correct spelling everywhere.

VOTE NOW! Very Happy

Voted yes, I guess it would come in handy, but the mod could just edit the post and save the forum's reputation. I couldn't read some of the text that went over the green dude's mouth. Too hard to read.

Voted no, every major browser has spell check and if a user doesn't use it then what makes you think they're going to use a more buggy version on a few forums?

Hmm... Seems useless, most browsers have it inbuilt... I do have spell check on right now, otherwise I wouldnt notice I wrote "speel" instead of "spell". Razz

Just use Google Chrome. And nobody really cares about a few members spelling wrong anyway. And Spell check doesn't make them write better.
