WYSIWYG mode in signatures
WYSIWYG mode in signatures
I think that the whole point of having a signature is to try and make it as beatiful as possible, not something plain. The WYSIWYG mode is important if you're configuring your signature so that you can get access to many things instead of looking up the BBcodes from internet and pressin 'preview' all the time. I don't see why this mode would be bad in any way.
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
so what is the WYSIWYG thing. I know what it stands for (What you see is what you get), but what's it for?

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
It's when you can directly see in the box you're writing in what will come out. For example, instead of writing
- Code:
[b][/b]
- Code:
:)

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
Please guys, doesn't anyone here want stylish signatures? Why not? At least put your arguments here!
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
i think there is no point of doing that.Sigs are very little texts so this is useless.
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
I can do stylish signatures, I have at various times had links, animated smilies and all sorts, so I don't agree with Cool-processor, but I don't see what I will gain from this feature, sorry.

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
I say no. Alot of forums don't have signatures available and/or they are required to have very little stuff in them (like staff here) so if you would like color then just use the codes. I don't see the point.

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
Yes but for example if you want to make it look good but you know the right codes HTML is there to help you out. And I still don't see what's so bad about it
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
Come on people! Think about all the confusion there is right now with signatures. Don't you want to have a cool signature that's more than just an image or text?
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
People do have signatures that's more than an image and text, just use the right codes

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
Exactly, but this mode would help you, because most people don't know the codes
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
if they don't know the codes, then they wont know what the hell they are doing in the firsst place

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
If you guys don't understand, what I mean is to have a full HTML editor like vBulletin forums have when you manage your signature.
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
Helloooo, forumotion is free whereas you have to pay for vBulletin. I wouldn't have hesitated one second if it were free!!
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
I'm against this. I can easily make myself a good signature just with BB Code. No need for WYSIWYG in signatures, BB Code is so simple that you can learn it in seconds! There's even a guide on Forumotion forums too.
Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
Yeah, like every member in your forum would come here to see the codes everytime >.>
Then why does WYSIWYG exist in forumotion anyway? Can't people just make their posts with BB Code as you all say? You see what I mean? If WYSIWYG exists for posts, I don't see why it wouldn't for signatures.

Re: WYSIWYG mode in signatures
