Private section

Hey this is a ''Serious'' problem

I have a private section for active members

But the problem is that they can ban???? But how and why??

They aren't moderators and i don't know how to fix it.

Only admins and mods can ban. Just make them mods.

He is saying that his members have the option to ban???

Um the only way i can see that happening is if you have the mod group open for anyone to join and have the mods permissions set to allow then to ban members

so i would go check your groups permissions and be sure that it is not set for members to join the group.. and if it was be sure to take out the members that are not supposed to be mods in that group.

If you had members banning someone you can always go back and remove the ban in the acp.

Um other then that i would need to see a screen shot or link to your forum.

i just went to one of my test boards and had the mod group as a open group
and to auto-subscribe on to lol
so yeah thats a big no no. it's the only way i can see this happen so be sure to check your groups and make sure it's a closed group.
