Please don't double post unless it’s been 24 hours from your last post. |
Hi, your title being non explicit and therefore not facilitating research via the search option, I'm not answering (nor is any other member) until you change your title for an explicit one, related to your problem |

the control panel is found on the main navigation bars(on the index) where it says profile.

Re: How to add a control panel for users?
whats it not doing, can i see your code. i just helped someone with this the other day and they just did not have there links in there right.
Also do you have all the settings as tonya has them in the tips and tricks thread?
post your code that you did and I'll have a look at it.

Re: How to add a control panel for users?
well there is something definitely wrong with the code above.
It's just coming up as a code, but when i put Tanya's in it appears so it looks like the links will have to be added correctly this time.
and what do you mean by side bar.. your widgets?
just naked sure you have your widgets enabled and you have them on the side you wish to see them.
Admin panel>modulus>widgets>widgets management.
be sure you have all the setting correctly.
well i will need all of your links. or if you like you can create a temp account so i can log in as a member and i will put the code together for you.. or-you can try it again just take your time and make sure you are placing the links right.
Please do not use colors or bold text.
This is for staff use only.
OK try this out it's working on my test forum but of course i am not logged in so check the links to make sure they are right and working. it seems somehow you have some weird font tags at the top on other things messed up at the bottom of the code you posted. so i just took the links from yours and added them to the right code. so it should be fine now. like i said it dose appear to be working on my test forum.
you can test it from there if you like. kirks test forum#1
oh i see what you where trying to do now. you want different font well it wont work like that you have to put the tags befor and after each text word you want that way in the code.
Your killing me now.... lol
this should do it/
well almost... lol you would have to know what size you want it.
seems that you want (Courier New) but it seems a lil small so do you want it bigger or any color... lol. it just has to go before and after each text word..
before the text
18 is large.
After the text.
then if you really want color.. lol let me know i can add it to the above for you real fast.
but you can take the time to place them where the have to be. just let me know that the links are correct on my test forum.
damn actually looks like you had the links right the whole time.
hahaha all i had to do was remove the font tags you had and it probably would have worked like a charm.. oh well i dint realise it until after i added the links to a new code... ME BIG DUMMY
