I need some help on the arcade
i want to put some games on my forum. so i get the code from miniclip.com and put the in the body of a new topic. does not work. so i put it in a forum's description. perfect it works.
although i dont want the games to show on the home page. i want it only available by link, but then they cant see ithe games.
how do i set up the permissions? or am i doing something wrong?
please help,
red
(P.S. I mean when the games actually show, its not the link. some games allow you to play them right of the website.)

Double posting isn't going to encourage a member to reply any time sooner.
In fact, they would rather not reply.

I went here > http://quickarcade.jcink.com/ , set up an account, and they designed it and host it for me. I can download more games and install them if I wish. I also added a link button to the main navigation of my forum, and the arcade pops up in a separate window so no one actually leaves the forum.
The only draw back, which is really minor, is that your members will need to register on your arcade. There's a shoutbox already installed on the arcade, it keeps track of high scores, and you can modify the colours and the layout with only a little CSS knowledge.

You're welcome. On the same site that you get the arcade from, there are tons of easy to read tutorials. He has made everything really simple for those of us that don't quite understand CSS as well as Katt does.
You'll have to go into the admin control panel of the arcade and open up the css. There you will see all the codes used for your arcade. The only thing I've done so far is add a background and my forum logo. The codes for adding a background can be found either on the arcade site where you obtained the arcade, or from the Forumotion forums. Just type in 'background code' or something similar in the search, and you'll find something that Katt wrote up giving you the code and telling you where to place it. I would tell you but I would actually have to go into the arcade set up and look at it, as I'm not css savvy, either.
