Can I disable; 'Log me on automatically each visit:' in the Admin Control Panel?

You do that when you login...just uncheck the box.

No I don't want the 'Log me on automatically each visit:' to appear on the HOME page, I want to disable it.

ah on a related topic, I didn't tell windows to remember my name and password. Now I wish i had as i have to type it in all the time. How do I do that?

Because it serves no purpose, once people clear cookies this does nothing.

It's a useless option is all.

For some users, they don't clear their cookies. So actually, it can be useful for many people.

some browsers like firefox can save passwords. you just click "yes" to saving the password (and username) and everytime you visit the page it appears automatically.
