Got Problem with registering

lots of my friends registered but its not listed in the members or new members and when they log in it says incorrect and when they try to register again they say its bein used what should i do?

Have they activated their accounts via link in email sent to them??

Or are you supposed to be approving their accounts...??

Please do not use bold, it's for moderation purposes.

They need to activate their account with the email they should have received.
If the activation is done by admin, try going to your admin panel > users & groups > inactive users > check their usernames > and click "activate" at the bottom of the page.

You can only choose activation by user or admin.
Admin panel > users & groups > user settings > "new accounts activation"

but ive chosen user activation so that means its gonna be on their emails?

anyway i got another question why wehn i change their rank theyre collors dont change? how do i change groups?

admin panel > users and groups > group administration > click the group you want to set a colour for > select colour > check the box for colour group members?

yeah i got that but my problem is i cant put my members into group:-??
