Navbar image for phpbb2

Can I set navbar image for my forum, which is phpbb2 version?
If the answer to first question is yes, what code should I use in css?

I have .nav section in my forum css, but i dont know if it is the right place where I should put the image url...

Code:

.nav{ font-weight: bold; font-size: 10px; color : #ffffff;background-image:none;}

Can this be done?

Display>pics management
Advanced mode
change the images there

Yes, i know for that option, but for some reason, it doesnt work...

Oops, none of the images change in the navbar through that?

In Display->Pictures->Advanced mode i have this:

Forum main logo :
Background picture (page) :
Background picture (Row title) :
Background picture (Row category left) :
Background picture (Row category right) :
...

Bellow this are vote bar, and nav buttons...

But I want to put picture behind those buttons... If it is possible...

Doesnt matter, I solve the problem. It can be changed through template.
